Well, I dunno who Lou wanted out quicker, but it seemed like Barrett was gone in a flash once he hit Lou's saturation point, whereas Lou let Ohman twist in the wind for ages.

But I suspect Barrett was easier to unload. A lot of people apparently look past the fact he has all of the catching instincts of a trained seal, to the fact that at some point in the semi-distant past he was actually somewhat capable of hitting major league pitching.

Actually, Lou has several hearts. That's part of what gives him his power. Barrett was losing more games for the Cubs than Uh-Ohman.
